Diablo 3 as MMORPG?!

Word on the street is that, Diablo 3 will be aired at Blizzcon. The rumor says that Diablo 3 will be an MMORPG like World of Warcraft only with the concept of heaven battling hell. This sounds like it could be pretty cool if they can carrying through the feel and concept of the last two games (Which in my opinion were some excellent RPG games especially with networked team coop gameplay). If this is true Blizzard is set to become the absolute undisputed king of MMORPGs in a few short years after the debut of WoW if they get the number of subscribers I think they will with Diablo 3.

    I’ve still been putting off getting my own copy of WoW, but diablo 3 as a MMORG??? I don’t think I would be able to wait on that one. Blizzard usually produces great stuff – WoW has been doing great and that would do just as well I think.

    Diablo 2 was both single and multiplayer. The multiplayer part of it was the first true precurser to MMORPG and could even be called MMORPG. If D3 is really going to be shown at blizzcon… My wife won’t see me for years… will have to immerse myself into D3…

    Yea, we might have to be roomies cause we will both be divorced. This would be coming out im guessing right before the wedding… and if we missed it because of D3…
